About Peachtree Creative Marketing Solutions.
After more than 15 years in the professional services marketing arena, Jennifer M. Davis founded Peachtree Creative to share her expertise with small to mid-sized law firms and other companies. Her unique combination of experience described below makes her a true asset to law firms hoping to improve their marketing strategies.
Before launching her own marketing consulting firm, Jennifer served as Director of Marketing at an AmLaw 100 firm, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, with almost 500 lawyers in six offices. There, she spearheaded the firm's rebranding campaign.
This massive undertaking included truncating the firm's trade name to Sutherland, developing a new logo, shifting to a new domain name, and redesigning the Web site at www.sutherland.com. Jennifer also handled redesigning print and Web ads, stationery, signage and collateral materials. Additionally, she managed the media relations outreach, resulting in front page coverage in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
She previously served as Director of Marketing and Business Development at a litigation boutique, Weinberg Wheeler, working with 75 attorneys across three offices. She started her legal marketing and business development career at Hunton & Williams, then an AmLaw 25 firm with more than 850 lawyers operating from 17 global offices.
Prior to entering the legal marketing arena, Jennifer worked at the State Bar of Georgia for over 12 years. There she served as Director of Communications and, in that role, was Editor and Publisher of the Georgia Bar Journal, the bi-monthly magazine circulated to all licensed Georgia attorneys. She also managed the Bar's consumer pamphlet series and other collateral materials; redesigned the Bar's logo and related stationery pieces; developed a print ad campaign for use at not cost by attorneys statewide; created a public service campaign to benefit domestic violence shelters that was honored with a n award from the National Association of Bar Executives, a division of the American Bar Association (ABA); designed, edited and published the ABA award-winning Younger Lawyers Section Newsletter; handled all media relations; and oversaw the initial development and ongoing maintenance of the State Bar's Internet presence at gabar.org.
Jennifer served as chair of the American Bar Association's (ABA) National Association of Bar Executives Communications Section, and was a frequent lecturer at ABA meetings.
Jennifer has been a member of the Georgia Bar Media and Judiciary Conference Committee of the State Bar since its inception 18 years ago. This annual deliberative forum is designed to foster and promote discussion and reflection of significant legal and professional issues impacting the bench, the bar and the media.
She currently also serves in a part-time capacity as Executive Director of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. In her spare time, she does amateur standup comedy at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia.
